Police have identified the 57-year-old woman who died at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport on Thursday as a North Carolina resident.

The woman, whose name has not been released, was found entangled in the baggage conveyor belt system by police officers responding to a call at approximately 7:45 a.m., according to Chicago Fire Department (CFD) spokesperson Larry Langford.

CFD personnel pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
